It’s a breakfast-for-dinner kind of night — and the star is this Blackstone Frosted Flake French Toast!
No complaints from the kids — French toast coated in crushed Frosted Flakes, plus sausage links and fried eggs cooked on the griddle at the same time.
How to Make Blackstone Frosted Flake French Toast
Start with a good loaf of bread and a box of Frosted Flakes.

Measure 4 cups of cereal into a gallon-size plastic bag, then crush the flakes with a rolling pin or the bottom of a cup. I like leaving a few larger pieces for extra crunch.

Transfer the crushed Frosted Flakes to a bowl. In a separate bowl, crack 4 eggs and add 1/2 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon sugar. Beat the mixture until combined.

I like arranging everything on a tray so I can carry it to the patio and work efficiently at the griddle. Add any sausage links and eggs you plan to cook alongside the French toast.

Preheat the griddle to medium-low for several minutes. Start the sausage first since it takes longer, then spread 2 tablespoons of butter evenly across the griddle.
Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, then press both sides into the Frosted Flake crumbs so each slice is well coated. Place the coated slices on the griddle over the melted butter.

Cook about 2 minutes per side, watching carefully. French toast near the center of the griddle will cook a bit faster, so rotate or move slices as needed to achieve an even golden brown crust.
When each slice reaches your preferred color and crispness, remove it from the griddle. The Frosted Flake coating creates a crunchy, sweet exterior while the inside stays tender.

Look at that golden-brown, crunchy-coated treat — absolutely gorgeous!

Serve with maple syrup if desired and enjoy a delicious griddle breakfast or breakfast-for-dinner.

I also cooked fried eggs on the griddle for a full meal. Everything was ready in minutes and made for an easy, crowd-pleasing dinner.
