Make this Snowman Dessert for Christmas

If you want the cutest and easiest Christmas dessert, this Snowman Cheesecake Dip Board is a perfect choice. The cheesecake dip is versatile enough to use on any dessert board — it has the familiar tang of classic no-bake cheesecake but with a lighter, creamier texture when made from scratch.

A Fun Twist on Buttercream Boards

Buttercream boards are trending, but swapping buttercream for a fluffy cheesecake dip brings a fresh twist. The dip pipes smoothly and holds shape, making it easy to create fun designs. If you’re short on time, a good-quality store-bought cheesecake dip can be used instead — pipe it into circles or use bowls of three different sizes to form the snowman silhouette.

How to Pipe Your Snowman Dessert

Fill a piping bag fitted with an open star or round tip and pipe three stacked circles in different sizes to create the snowman body. Use an even pressure so the swirls are uniform. Leave room between the circles for facial features and decorations.

Ingredients

  • Two 8 oz bricks cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 chocolate chips (for eyes)
  • 1 orange candy slice, cut into a triangle (for nose)
  • Mini chocolate chips (for mouth)
  • Red candy strips/belts (for scarf)
  • 3 red M&M’s (for buttons) — add just before serving to avoid color bleed

Dipping ingredients

  • Strawberries, sliced
  • Blueberries
  • Chocolate chip cookies
  • Ginger snaps
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Nilla wafers
  • Oatmeal cookies
  • Chocolate pretzels

Instructions

  1. Let cream cheese sit at room temperature for 45 minutes to soften, or microwave unwrapped cream cheese for 15 seconds.
  2. Using a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, beat the heavy cream on high for 2–3 minutes until stiff peaks form. A hand mixer works too.
  3. Remove whipped cream to a separate bowl. With the paddle attachment, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  4. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined and light.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with an open star or round tip. Pipe three circles on a serving plate or board to form the snowman. If you have extra mixture, layer or pipe additional swirls.
  6. Build the face: use two chocolate chips for eyes, an orange candy triangle for the nose, and mini chocolate chips for the mouth.
  7. Add three red M&M’s for buttons just before serving to prevent color from bleeding into the dip.
  8. Cut three short pieces of red candy strip to form a scarf and drape them around the neck area.
  9. Create a hat or hair with blueberries placed on top of the head.
  10. Arrange dipping ingredients around the snowman and keep refrigerated until serving.
