Muffins have a way of rescuing a rushed morning, especially on school days. Instead of asking everyone what they want to eat, I can set out plates, pour glasses of milk and place these Yogurt Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins in front of the crew. No arguing, no extra requests—just a few happy voices asking for another muffin.

I often keep a batch of my Homemade Oatmeal Muffin Mix on hand because it makes baking a dozen muffins effortless. It’s shelf-stable, and I usually prepare two mixes at once—our growing family can disappear through nearly two dozen muffins in a sitting, with just enough left for breakfast the next day.

These Yogurt Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins start with that same mix. With a quick stir and three simple additions, you can have the batter ready long before the oven reaches temperature. The base mix also works beautifully for Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Muffins and Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal Muffins, offering a fast way to change flavors while keeping prep effortless.

Can You Bake with Greek Yogurt?

Yes. Substituting yogurt for an egg—or using sour cream—produces lighter, less dense muffins, making them easier to enjoy more than one. Greek yogurt is an especially good option because it adds protein, helping the finished muffins feel more satisfying.

For a bakery-fresh look, press a few extra blueberries into the top of each muffin scoop before baking. They make the muffins look enticing and signal the fresh fruit inside.

How to prepare Yogurt Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins, steps 1-4.

How to Make Yogurt Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins

[1] In a medium bowl, combine Homemade Oatmeal Muffin Mix, milk, yogurt and blueberries.

[2] Stir with a spoon or spatula until ingredients are just combined and no dry mix remains.

[3] Line a muffin tin with paper liners.

[4] Using a large cookie scoop, fill each muffin cup with batter. Bake at 350°F for 20–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Tip: parchment baking cups are great for preventing sticking, and a cookie scoop helps make even-sized muffins.
