Classic Beef Stir Fry
To celebrate my blog anniversary I’m sharing a favorite from my cookbook. If you want a quick, satisfying meal loaded with vegetables and protein, this beef stir fry is an excellent choice for a 20-minute dinner.
Simple Ingredients
- Vegetable oil or olive oil – use any oil with a high smoke point.
- Beef sirloin or flank steak – skirt steak works well too; slice into 2-inch strips.
- Broccoli florets
- Bell peppers – red or any color, cut into strips.
- Carrots – matchstick or thinly sliced.
- Garlic – minced.
- Low-sodium soy sauce – coconut aminos can substitute.
- Brown sugar
- Sesame oil
- Sriracha – adjust to taste for heat.
- Green onions – sliced for garnish.
- Sesame seeds – toasted, for finishing.
