For this recipe I stopped by my local Walmart to pick up a few items. I intended a quick trip but, like many of us, I ended up with a few extra things in my cart. If Grocery Pickup were offered at my store I could have saved time and avoided impulse purchases.

The recipe I made is from Country Crock, so I picked up Country Crock® Original Spread. My store had a bonus size on the shelf, which made it a better value. Using a quality spread adds a rich finish and helps the vegetables develop great flavor.

For the vegetables I chose a mix of broccoli, cauliflower, yellow squash and carrots, but you can use whatever your family prefers. Bell peppers, zucchini, or a frozen vegetable mix would work just as well.

I was impressed by how much flavor came through without adding salt. The spread and a short, hot sauté bring out natural sweetness and richness in the vegetables.
